Since 2023, SPAU GmbH has been part of the joint venture INFRA JV and works together with partners from Germany, Ireland and the United Kingdom on large-scale projects (e.g. Suedlink).

We are looking for

We would like to expand our team and are looking for Assistant Supervisors to work full-time for archaeological projects in Lower Saxony, Hesse, Thuringia, Bavaria and Baden-Württemberg. With the potential to work on projects abroad. The company’s headquarters are situated in Münzenberg in Hesse, Germany.

We expect

• Physical stamina, willingness to work outdoors in all weather
• Experience of archaeological excavations with comprehensive knowledge of documentation techniques
• A bachelor’s degree within the field of archaeology, excavation technology or similar subjects OR Completion of excavation technician training (Grabungstechnikerfortbildung) according to the Frankfurt model
• Solid knowledge of surveying technology and the use of GIS programs.
• Proficient English skills (verbal and written)
• German language skills, at least level C1
• Willingness to work away from home
• Full manual driver's license and willingness to drive company vehicles
• Willingness to undergo further development and training.
