Toolkit for post-excavation stratigraphic analysis

Welcome to the Toolkit for post-excavation stratigraphic analysis: Please view this short walkthrough video which introduces the Toolkit and its resources, to be added and presented by X and Y (CIfA). 

This Toolkit for post-excavation stratigraphic analysis has been developed from previous work on 'The Archaeologists Guide to Good Practice - Handbook' project (AHRC/UKRI funded AH/X006735/1) which itself followed on from 'The Matrix' project (AHRC/UKRI funded AH/T002093/1) that identified and addressed a number of issues with reusing the archaeological information in digital archives, focusing on stratigraphic data. 

The content of this Toolkit outlines the recommended approach to undertaking work on stratigraphic records from archaeological excavations and particularly methods for post excavation stratigraphic analysis. It is designed to ensure that stratigraphic analysis work undertaken complies with other related CIfA standards and guidelines e.g. Toolkit for Managing Digital Data (Dig Digital).
