Jen Parker Wooding BSc MSc PhD MCIfA previously held the role of Membership Services Coordinator supporting the Registered Organisation scheme between 2013-2016, and has now returned as CIfA's Senior Professional Standards & Practice Coordinator. She assists Kate Geary, Head of Professional Development & Practice, and focuses on the management, review and implementation of the Institute’s professional practice initiatives and standards. She works alongside other CIfA colleagues and supports the Institute’s Board of Directors, Advisory Council, Special Interest Groups and committees whilst communicating with members and the wider sector. Jen has undergraduate and post graduate degrees in Archaeological Science and a PhD specialising in Zooarchaeology. She has previously worked as a field archaeologist for commercial organisations in Yorkshire and the Midlands, and on research excavations in the UK, France and Iceland.
