We’re hiring Archaeologists, Supervisors, & Officers to join our teams on some of the UK’s most ambitious infrastructure and archaeology projects. This is your chance to uncover prehistoric monuments, Roman settlements, and hidden landscapes while directly influencing how Britain builds for the future.

Current Projects

Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire & East Yorkshire – Large-scale Powerline Corridor Evaluations, Help uncover a continuous story of human activity from the Palaeolithic through to the modern era. This large-scale linear project offers exceptional potential for major Iron Age and Roman discoveries.

Suffolk – Extensive Powerline Corridor Evaluations. Help uncover a continuous story of human activity across the landscape. This large-scale evaluation project has strong potential for well-preserved remains spanning multiple periods, offering exceptional opportunities to investigate how communities lived and farmed over thousands of years.

Gloucestershire & WarwickshireOpen-Area Excavations Get hands-on with two sites brimming with Late Prehistoric and Roman archaeology. These open-area digs offer rare opportunities to excavate well-preserved settlement and landscape features.

 

Roles

Archaeologists (£26.5–£27.5k + £6,110 away allowance)

  • Minimum of 6 months commercial field experience (UK/EU) preferred
  • Get hands-on with excavation, recording, survey, and digital tools
  • Work as part of a close-knit team in all weathers, supporting discoveries that shape the archaeological record

 

Supervisors (£29.6–£31k + £6,110 away allowance)

  • Lead small teams, manage progress, and ensure high-quality outputs
  • Balance logistics, resource allocation & safety with team motivation
  • Be the bridge between officers, archaeologists, and senior managers

 

Officers (£33.6–£37k + £6,110 away allowance)

  • Take charge of multi-site infrastructure projects
  • Design, plan & deliver complex excavations
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure projects hit time, budget & quality targets
  • Provide mentoring & guidance to early-career archaeologists

(Full UK driving licence desirable for Supervisor & Officer roles.)
