Join MOLA's Archives team and play an important role in processing archaeological finds and environmental samples from excavations across the UK.

Based in Northampton, you will join an established team responsible for the processing of environmental soil samples by flotation, as well as the cleaning, packaging and recording of archaeological finds of all types, including human remains. Your work will contribute to the preparation of archaeological archives for long-term preservation and deposition with the appropriate repositories.

We are looking for someone with experience in finds, environmental and/or osteological processing, together with a basic knowledge of finds identification within British archaeology. A degree in archaeology or a related subject (or equivalent experience) would be advantageous. The role requires excellent attention to detail, strong organisational and communication skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, or equivalent spreadsheet software.
