Consultancy details
Strata Insight Ltd provides specialist consultancy in the design, development, and evaluation of heritage projects focused on wellbeing and social impact. The consultancy supports organisations from the earliest stages of project conception through to delivery and evaluation, ensuring that wellbeing ambitions are translated into clear, achievable, and evidence-informed project designs.
Services include development of theories of change, identification of appropriate wellbeing outcomes, selection of aligned measurement approaches, and delivery of mixed-methods evaluation. Particular emphasis is placed on conceptual clarity, including the distinction between wellbeing and mental health, and on aligning intended outcomes, mechanisms of change, and evidence strategies.
The practice is underpinned by a principle of proportionate rigour, ensuring that evaluation approaches are appropriate to project scale, context, and claims. This enables organisations to generate evidence that is credible, defensible, and useful for funding, policy, and practice, without placing unnecessary burden on staff or participants.
Experience spans archaeology, museums, community heritage, and veteran-focused programmes, with work undertaken in collaboration with academic institutions, public bodies, and heritage organisations.
