Consultancy details
Brogan Archaeology is an independent archaeological consultancy operated by Ashley Brogan. Established in 2022, Brogan Archaeology collaborates with trusted partners and sub-contractors to deliver high-quality archaeological services across the North West of England. The practice is rooted in ethical principles, with a focus on projects that deliver community and environmental benefit. Brogan Archaeology specialises in upland regions and landscape conservation schemes, including peatland restoration, woodland creation, river restoration, and habitat creation. Brogan Archaeology has been specialising in upland peat restoration projects since 2022 and has covered over 30 upland peatland sites across the Lake District, West Pennines, and the Forest of Bowland in the last 3 years. Many of these landscapes are considered to be of high significance, such as the Forest of Bowland National Landscape and the English Lake District World Heritage Site, and therefore require specialist input and local knowledge.
