The Landscape SIG invites you to join us for our series of online tea break lectures on Wednesday 14 January 2026 from 12:05 until 12:55 where we will explore the fascinating world of landscape archaeology.

We will delve into various different topics, providing insights into the historical and cultural significance of landscapes.

Join us for bite-sized talks (perfect for your lunch break!), discussions, and the chance to connect with fellow landscape SIG members.

This session will feature two short talks:

  • Susan Kilby (Institute for Place Name studies) on Field Names and Landscape Futures – a Shropshire Case Study and
  • Hannah Fluck (National Trust) on Developing the concept of Heritage Opportunity and Impact Mapping.
