Early Careers Group AGM

Our 2026 Annual General Meeting is scheduled for Tuesday 22 September 2026 from 19:00 - 20:00 BST. We invite you to join us as we reflect on the achievements of the last year and and outline our goals for the year ahead.
This meeting will provide an opportunity not only to learn about the initiatives we’ve been involved in, but also to participate in discussions about our future direction.

Early Careers Group is looking for a Chair, Vice Chair, Secretary and Ordinary Committee members
As a member of the Early Careers Group we would like to invite you to consider a role on the group committee.
The group needs volunteers to come forward to allow the group to continue to operate and to give Early Career members a voice and forum within CIfA. Below are some details about what the different roles involve.
This year, quite a few of our committee are coming to the end of terms of office, meaning we have vacancies for
- Chair
- Secretary
- Vice-chair
- three Ordinary committee member
To be an ordinary committee member you must be member of CIfA at (PCIfA, ACIfA, MCIfA, Student or Affiliate), and the Chair, Secretary and Vice-chair roles are suitable for anyone who is a member of CIfA at PCIfA, ACIfA or MCIfA. The deadline to complete the nomination form for joining the committee is Thursday 17 September. Either complete this form or email groups@archaeologists.net for more information about what is involved.
Getting involved by volunteering with CIfA is a great way to make the most of your membership and have an impact on your profession. It also gives you the opportunity to develop your knowledge and skills as well as network and engage with other professionals.
