Join us for a merry mix of archaeology, oddities and outright guessing as the Diggers’ Forum hosts a holiday Quiz on Thursday 18 December from 18:00 - 18:45.
In our aim to improve wellbeing and bring people in archaeology together, we are hosting a Holiday Quiz which is open for everyone to join. Either sign up using the registration link below or click the Teams link to join the call on the day - Join the meeting now.
Bring your best festive spirit, your nerdiest knowledge and maybe a questionable festive jumper. There’ll be laughs, surprises and prizes and a chance to connect with your community and wrap up the year in style!

Introducing…
Our Quiz-Keeper for the evening will be Xander Smith is donating his time and skills as quizmaster extraordinaire in kind.
If you're in the giving spirit, Xander would like to draw your attention to Jingle Jam. Jingle Jam is a registered charity in England and Wales (1200061) which raises money for other charities primarily through the main charity drive from December 1 to December 14 every year. The Jingle Jam event is various streamers around the world playing games and promoting donations to the various charities, the group Xander personally watches each year is the Yogscast at www.twitch.tv/yogscast who stream from 11am to 11pm daily throughout the two-week period.

A significant part of the Jingle Jam is the collection which is a unique reward curated by Jingle Jam and made available to donors who give £35 or more at their annual December event. Typically, it features 14-18 premium games in a mix of genres. Jingle Jam has raised over £27.5 million for charities and the money raised by the Jingle Jam will have a positive impact on the four main areas of focus:
- Inclusion of neurodivergent, disabled, LGBT+ and diverse young people.
- Improving the mental and physical health of young people.
- Support for young people affected by global events including poverty, disasters, epidemics or conflicts.
- Safeguarding the future of the planet for young people, by combating climate change and protecting animal welfare.
