Description
A panel discussion featuring presenters from across the historic environment sector that will explore innovation in practice, specifically in relation to  community archaeology and engagement. The discussion will focus on the below themes with opportunities for audience participation via Q&A.

  • How is innovation being implemented in community archaeology?
  • Are there different ways we should/could be engaging audiences?
  • What are the barriers to innovation in relation to community archaeology/engagement?
  • What’s new with you? Examples of different approaches/project examples? What recent innovations or insights would the panel and audience like to share?
  • Actions to improve innovation – what can the opanel and audience recommend to help the historic environment sector embed innovation as part of standard practice?
