We are a well-established small company, trading for over 30 years. Due to a successful year and a strong ongoing program of fieldwork, we are looking for motivated, dedicated individuals to join our team. Work based from Swindon office, but will involve stay-away projects across the UK, for which accommodation; subsistence & mileage (where applicable) will be paid.

Foundations is a CIfA RO

Skills required:

  • Proven track record in supervising commercial fieldwork projects
  • Previous experience in client &supervising bodies’ liaison
  • Experience in writing  grey literature reports preferable
  • Experience in DBAs desirable
  • Full clean UK manual driving licence essential
  • CIfA Membership desirable
  • ACIfA/equivalent preferred

 

Personal Skills:

Candidates should be enthusiastic, ethical, hard-working & flexible. Have proven experience in relevant roles within commercial archaeology (ideally minimum 1 year at supervisor level). Able to work effectively as a team player & independently and with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Efficient organisational skills to supervise fieldwork and able to work effectively to short timescales.
