The South West Heritage Trust (SWHT) invites proposals from suitably qualified and experienced heritage professionals/consultants to provide project management services for the updating of the South West Archaeological Research Framework (SWARF). The Project Manager will deliver the objectives in the brief and work closely with the Steering Group to deliver the project.
The Steering group consists of staff from the South West Association of Local Government Archaeological Officers (hereafter SWALGAO) and Historic England.
Tenderers should have a good understanding of the archaeology of the South West region and a broad knowledge of the importance of Research Frameworks across England. They will need to show their ability to engage, collaborate and communicate with a wide body of stakeholders and contributors.
Fee
The fee available for this assignment is up to £50,000 exclusive of VAT.
Payment terms to be staged payments in arrears. A Payment Schedule to be agreed with the successful tenderer.

The project will run for up to two years with completion by March 2028
