An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Project Archaeologist to join the York Archaeology team in Nottingham (formerly Trent & Peak Archaeology). York Archaeology is the trading name for the delivery of commercial archaeological services for York Archaeological Trust (YAT).

To help in our mission we are looking for a Project Archaeologist (Post-excavation and Environmental Archaeology) with the character and skills to assist with the delivery of commercial contracts cost-effectively and to the satisfaction of clients. We are looking for someone who also has the ambition and drive to use this platform of discovery to help build the connections to secure positive social impacts through our shared heritage. We are seeking a highly motivated, enthusiastic and diligent Project Archaeologist to join our post-excavation team. You will work under the guidance of our project officers and managers, to help set up and deliver the post-excavation and environmental analysis phases of various types of archaeological project within set budgets and timescales.
