Description

Annual General Meeting of the CIfA Wales/Cymru Group. Please join us at our AGM, where we will be reviewing the group's activities over the past year and outline our plans for the next. We also hope to be welcoming new committee members at our AGM. If you are interested in joining the Wales/Cymru Group Committee, have a read of the information on the Group Webpage send Meg Keates an email (Megan.Keates@archaeologists.net) before 19 October 2020.

After our AGM we will be running a lecture on post-medieval pottery in Wales lad by group member Alice Forward. The talk will provide a general introduction to earlier post-medieval ceramics in Wales, with a more focused discussion on the range of material found along the south Wales seaboard.

Alice Forward is a specialist in medieval and post-medieval pottery. Following the completion of her PhD from Cardiff University, for which she looked at pottery from sites in south Glamorgan, Alice worked for Historic England and has just finished working for Cardiff University on a research project looking at medieval objects from excavations in England.
