Current IfA HLF workplace learning bursaries

IfA is offering a further 2 training posts – this time in ‘Non-intrusive archaeological techniques’ - under the HLF’s Workplace Learning Bursaries scheme, with partnership funding from English Heritage. These posts will be 15 months long and will involve 5/6 month periods with specialist teams in several English Heritage offices including Swindon, York and Cambridge. Post holders will work full time, helping to deliver projects while working toward agreed learning goals. Both posts will start on 1 March 2013.

For each post on offer there is an Advertisement, a Job Description/Person Specification and a Training Plan. Details of how to apply are included in the individual Advertisements for each post.

Post holders will be paid an annual salary of £15,836, (pro rata for 15 months). An employers’ pension contribution of 6% of salary will also made to the post holders. Successful candidates will be, or will be expected to become members of an appropriate professional institute.

The closing date for the return of completed applications is Friday 14 January. Interviews will be held before the end of January.
