Volunteer vacancy for CIfA New Generation Group

We have an opportunity for volunteers to join CIfA’s New Generation committee.

New Generation is a CIfA Special Interest Group was formed following a series of discussions and debates by a number of PCIfA grade members at the 2012 Conference in Oxford. It became clear that there were many people in the early stages of their careers in archaeology, who wanted to be more involved with institute and play a greater role within the sector as a whole.  The New Generation SIG aims to support archaeologists in the early stages of their career working in all aspects of the sector. 

The Group has a vacancy for a Chair, Secretary and Treasurer (these roles must be taken by an accredited CIfA member) and four Ordinary committee members (open to any grade of CIfA membership).

Volunteer opportunities with CIfA are not paid but we do cover the cost of reasonable travel expenses.
