Parliamentary review into local government archaeology services evidence published

The evidence which supported a parliamentary review into the Future of Local Government Archaeology Services has been published online.

This evidence, collected in 2014 from a range of historic environment sector bodies, was collected to inform John Howell MP and Lord Redesdale's review, which was commissioned by the then Minister for Culture, Ed Vaizey. The Review itself was published in September 2016 and can be downloaded here.

A CIfA statement on the release of the evidence can be downloaded here.
