Member Engagement Coordinator job vacancy

We are looking to recruit a Member Engagement Coordinator to focus on developing and implementing engagement strategies, particularly through CIfA’s network of Area and Special Interest Groups.

The Chartered Institute for Archaeologists is the leading professional institute representing archaeologists in the UK and overseas. We champion professionalism in archaeology, setting and monitoring professional standards and promoting best practice. We have just over 3800 individual members and 80 organisations on our register along with 21 Area and Special Interest Groups. We received our Royal Charter in 2014 and since then have seen a growth in our membership and profile. Recent feedback from our members has highlighted areas we can develop to improve member engagement and volunteer opportunities and use these to increase communication about the work of the Institute.

You will have proven experience of working with volunteers and delivering engagement and/or recruitment activities or strategies. Ideally you will have had experience of working with professional institutes and can manage a range of diverse tasks and demands.
