Job vacancy: Marketing and Communications Manager

We are looking to recruit a Marketing and Communications Manager to promote the Chartered Institute’s activities.  They will work with senior staff to design, develop and improve our promotion by creating and delivering engaging content across a range of media/channels. The post-holder will also take on management of significant aspects of the role and managerial responsibility for any support staff.

The Chartered Institute for Archaeologists is the leading professional institute representing archaeologists in the UK and overseas. We champion professionalism in archaeology, setting and monitoring professional standards and promoting best practice. We have over 4000 individual members and 80 organisations on our register.

You will have had previous experience of creating and managing communication and marketing campaigns using a range of channels. You will be confident in the use of social media and website and to train staff and volunteers as necessary. Ideally you will have had experience of working with professional institutes and with volunteers and have membership of a relevant professional body.
