Archaeologists’ PPE could save the lives of health-workers’ and their patients.

Many countries around the world are experiencing an urgent shortage of vital medical supplies for combating the Coronavirus. In the UK, NHS staff urgently need the kind of PPE many archaeologists were using on site, and conservators in the lab. If you are off site and have body suits, dust masks (FP3 masks) or eye protection (which can be disinfected and reused), please see if your local GP surgery can use them; if your organisation has stocks of equipment, please contact your local hospital.
