Summary

Archaeological Project Services is looking for a Project Manager with experience of the UK commercial environment to join our busy and friendly team. The position is available for an immediate start to work on a range of sites across the Midlands and East of England.

Applications are invited from candidates who can provide demonstrable experience of managing all aspects of archaeological projects including project design, fieldwork, desk-based analysis, post excavation, report writing and team management. Candidates will have the ability to work independently and to deadlines and take responsibility for project work. A full clean UK driving licence is essential.

Applicants should have a sufficient practical and research experience to meet the criteria required to qualify for membership of Chartered Institute for Archaeologists (CIfA) at Member (MCIFA) level.

In addition, it would preferable if candidates have the following:

•    A current CSCS card

•    A First Aid certificate

•    The flexibility to work away from base is essential

•    A degree in archaeology or a related discipline
