Assistant Supervisors

Assistant Supervisor Position:

• Competitive salary range £21,489 to £22,140 in line with CIfA salary guidelines; appointments will be made on the basis of demonstrated ability, previous experience and CIfA membership if appropriate.
• 37.5 hours (basic) per week.
• Candidates must demonstrate proven experience, technical proficiency and good working knowledge of professional archaeological fieldwork within the UK or Irish commercial environment.
• Candidates will be able to support the Project Supervisor and assist with supervision, guidance, task allocation, performance monitoring and training where appropriate for Fieldwork Archaeologists and Graduate Trainees.
• Candidates will be able to undertake tasks such as surveying, watching briefs, machine watching, record checking and matrix building.  
• A degree in archaeology or related discipline will be highly advantageous, as will membership of the CIfA at PCIfA level.
• A full clean driving licence is desirable, as is a current CSCS (Construction Skills Certification Scheme) card.
