Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic person to work within our Archaeological Archive team as Archive Documentation Assistant. 

The Archive Documentation Assistant will play a central role in our SADAP project (Site Archives Deposit Audit), auditing the legal documentation related to archaeological depositions, highlighting any anomalies, updating the museum’s database and assisting with the documentation of new depositions.

We are looking for someone with some previous experience of using an archive/collections management system, excellent attention to detail and the ability to work accurately in extracting information from complex documents. A basic understanding of Deeds, licence and similar legal documents would be welcome.
