Summary

MOLA is seeking to recruit an Archaeobotanist based at our London office.

The successful candidate will contribute to and develop understanding of the past through the identification, recording, analysis, interpretation and reporting of botanical macrofossil assemblages, including charcoal.

You will have a degree in archaeobotany or a relevant subject and have demonstrable experience of identifying seeds and other plant remains in waterlogged, charred and mineralised states and experience of assessing and analysing archaeobotanical assemblages and reporting on the results. You will ideally have an understanding and awareness of current academic research within the specialism.
