BAJR Respect survey results: Reporting of bullying & harassment in the work place
Reporting of Bullying & Harassment in the work place: A BAJR Respect Survey
Earlier this year, the BAJR Respect Campaign ran a short survey to gather a snapshot of confidence in the sector when reporting witnessed or experienced bullying or sexual harassment. Over 280 responses were received from UK based archaeologists; this short talk presents the initial results of this survey and highlights positive steps that can be taken by employers to reduce incidents of bullying and harassment. It is time to move from awareness raising to a stance of non-acceptance of all forms of bullying and harassment behaviours across our profession.
The survey results review will be followed by a Q&A session with representatives from Prospect and CIfA.
Featured presenters:
Kayt Hawkins, Archaeology South-East UCL Institute of Archaeology, BAJR Respect Campaign
Sadie Watson, MOLA, Prospect Archaeologists Branch Equality and Diversity Representative
