Lunchtime chat

Registration is closed for this event
Come to our regular digital networking event. One of the sessions this time will be talking about neurodiversity and the challenges for career progression.

Description

Join us for a lunchtime chat, from 12:30 until 13:15. Expand your social network from the comfort of your own home or wherever you are currently located, and perhaps chat with some people on Zoom other than your daily contacts! We will set up a series of break-out rooms for people to join and go from there.

CIfA staff will also be joining in on the conversations, so feel free to say hi! We'd also love to get your feedback on these sessions and any ideas you have for topics or ways to improve the process, so let us know and we will see what we can do! This will be completely free with up to 100 spaces available.

Topics:

  • Neurodiversity and the challenges for career progression
At this informal neurodiversity network tea break we’d like to explore some of the challenges we face in progressing our careers. This will be an informal discussion with the opportunity to share experiences and discuss how some of these barriers might be overcome.
  • Practitioner upgrade chat
Are you a Student or Affiliate who’s thinking of upgrading to Practitioner? Or perhaps you’re not a member of CIfA yet but thinking about making an application. This CIfA lunchtime chat is an informal chance to explore how you can show examples of the skills and knowledge you’ll need to meet the Practitioner competence matrix.  Lianne and Anna will be there to guide you around our website resources and answer your questions.
