Description

The theme of this online workshop is to introduce and promote a range of new (and not so new, but important) toolkits, standards and other resources relevant to finds research.

We hope the event will be of particular interest to early career finds archaeologists or those looking to progress within this specialist area – but all who want to find out more are welcome!

The day will entail a series of short presentations about each resource and guidance on its use and practical application.

The Finds SIG AGM will take place during the day to which all members are encouraged to attend. We have a number of committee vacancies for which members are encouraged to consider putting forward nominations for and getting involved in the work of the committee. We are particularly keen to hear from early career archaeologist, especially those with skills and/or interest in social media and communications.
