Description
As professionally accredited archaeologists we have accepted a responsibility to conserve the historic environment, to use it economically to provide reliable information and to disseminate the results of our work. We have also made an ethical commitment to promote the value of the historic environment and to engage with the public.
CIfA Standards and guidance state that details of ‘how public benefits may be achieved by means of engagement, participation and/or dissemination of the results both during and after the project’ should be set out in the Written Scheme of Investigation or project design. This CPD event will support the design and delivery of engagement and participation activities through a series of case studies and workshop activities. It is relevant to all those involved in creating the opportunities for engagement at all stages of the process from project inception to archive deposition and use.
Spaces for this CPD workshop are limited, so do ensure you register early to secure your place.
