Social media is becoming an essential part of the working environment for heritage professionals, whether their projects are research or commercial. Social media is also playing an increasing role in building networks and creating an online reputation. This informal drop in session will give you the chance to talk to those who regularly make professional use of Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, Flickr etc. So whether you are and experienced user or terrified of Twitter, Scared of Storify freaked out by Facebook or inept with Instagram come along to learn and share in this social medial surgery from the Information Management Special Interest Group.
