Ramboll - Cultural Heritage and Archaeology

Ramboll is a leading engineering, design and consultancy company which provides multidisciplinary solutions for businesses, governments and communities around the world. Our specialist consultants support clients in the UK and abroad in the realisation of their development schemes, helping them to ensure that critical risks to design, budget and programme are identified and avoided. Cultural Heritage & Archaeology is one of Ramboll’s core services. Based in London and Southampton, our team of experienced archaeologists provides pre-acquisition advice, negotiates with planning agencies, and manages archaeological contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of archaeological works to the requisite standard. Our principal strengths include urban mitigation, including cross-disciplinary design development to preserve archaeological remains in situ. We also offer expertise in environmental impact assessments, conservation management plans, assessing setting issues, characterising the historic landscape and marine archaeology. Ramboll is an ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 accredited company.
