Summary: These workshops will provide those attending with training in how to apply for funding for archaeological projects. This is an important transferable skill that is applicable across the heritage sector, which is essential to career development and for which most employment offers limited opportunities for formal training.

The funding workshop event will encourage participants to think about
* What sort of project they would like to develop
* Who the key partners of the project would be
* The type of funding streams available
* How to secure funding

As a CPD event it affords CIfA members an opportunity to achieve the aims in their Personal Development Plan (PDP) and contributes towards CPD hours.
