CIfA2016 - Call for papers

It’s that time of year again! The sessions for our 2016 conference have been chosen and we are now inviting submissions for papers – the deadline is 23 November 2015, so get your thinking caps on.

Hosted at the University of Leicester, expect to find our 2016 event packed with sessions, training and networking opportunities. We will have our usual three-day programme, this time exploring the broad theme Archaeology in context. Sessions will be turning the spotlight firmly on archaeology and archaeologists - what is the role of archaeology in society, how should archaeologists be trained and in what ways should archaeology be embedded within the teaching curriculum? Below you will find the abstracts for our confirmed sessions, with details of the session organisers and contact email addresses.

We are keen to involve a cross-section of those working with archaeology, so please pass on this Call for papers to your friends and colleagues…

How to submit a paper proposal – deadline 23 November 2015
Simply email the session organisers with the title of your paper and an abstract of up to 150 words.

Make sure you include your name and contact details in your submission. The programme for the conference is being finalised and would be helpful to inform the session organisers if you cannot present on a particular day. Although it is unlikely that we can change the programme at this stage, your organisers will need to know if you can’t make the day which the session is billed for!

Remember paper submissions should be sent directly to the session organisers...

Please find further details on our conference webpage.
