AGM2013; notice and call for nominations to Council
It’s the time of year in our governance timetable where IfA issue a call for nominations for election to Council, Executive and Membership Appeals committee. This provides an important opportunity for our members to really get involved in the heart of IfA, to contribute to discussions on strategic development, on current issues affecting our members and the profession and to contribute to the effective running of the organisation.
This year there are three vacancies coming up on Council including the Executive committee position of Honorary Vice Chair Outreach. Membership Appeals committee also has three vacancies for members who are not members of Council. This important committee considers appeals by unsuccessful applicants to individual membership of the Institute.
If you are a Corporate member of IfA (PIfA, AIfA or MIfA) and interested in standing for election to any of the above you will need to complete a nomination form and return it to the IfA office by Friday 16 August. Nomination forms and the timetable for elections is available with details of our forthcoming AGM.
