IfA urgently needs more NVQ assessors to assess Level 3 candidates in the east and south east of England. To train as an NVQ assessor, you need to be occupationally competent (defined as having worked in the occupational area you plan to assess for at least two years within the last five) and to undertake an Assessors’ qualification. Qualifying as an NVQ assessor will take on average 6 months, depending on the amount of time you have to commit to the process. Once qualified, assessors are paid a fee of £630 per candidate through the IfA Assessment Centre.
