The closing date for entries for the 2011 ATF Training Award is fast approaching and there are just over two weeks left to nominate an organisation or individual for their excellent work in training or professional development.
The ATF Training Award recognises excellence in training and/or professional development. It is open to organisations and individuals in both the paid and voluntary sectors and aims to promote the value of training to the discipline as a whole. The 2010 Award was presented to the Nautical Archaeology Society at the IfA Conference in Reading and nominations are now being sought for the 2011 award. For more information and to download an application form, please visit the TORC website at www.torc.org.uk. The closing date for entries is 31 January 2012 and the winner will be announced at the IfA Conference in April 2012.
