HLF/IfA Workplace Learning Bursary funded placement: IT Applications for Standing Buildings and Landscape Surveys

£15, 600 for a 12 month contract

Applications are invited for a professional, highly motivated and capable archaeologist with experience in standing building and site surveys for a training placement funded by the HLF through the IfA Workplace Learning Bursary scheme. The training to be provided is in IT applications for standing buildings and landscape surveys, based at our Sheffield and Bakewell offices. The successful applicant will have a background in standing buildings work and, at the minimum, a good honours degree and experience in professional archaeology. The placement holder will be responsible to the Office Manager at our Sheffield office.

The post is available from August 2010 and, subject to successful completion of a 3 month probationary period, will be for 12 months, possibly leading to a permanent position thereafter.
