Groups
IfA has a number of area and special interest groups that anybody can join. These bring together professionals with specific historic environment interests in either a particular geographic or subject area. Membership of all groups is free to IfA members, while non-members pay a small yearly subscription of £10 (please scroll down for details).
Membership of an IfA group brings a number of benefits, most groups produce regular newsletters and run training events. The groups also represent specialist views to IfA Council or else advice Council on issues which have a specific relevance to their subject/geographical area. If you are an IfA member you can also stand for election to a groups' committee.
