Workplace learning

IfA is committed to the development and promotion of training for the profession, in particular in fill identified skills needs. We are currently working with the Heritage Lottery Fund and English Heritage to trial and publicise innovative ways of providing professional training. We are also an assessment centre and provider of the National Vocational Qualification (NVQ) in Archaeological Practice.
