This workshop does not intend to ‘sell’ geophysics but, instead, ensure that end-users are getting the most from the sector. Many archaeologists deal with geophysics at some level but widespread use does not necessarily equate to widespread understanding. The workshop will assist with writing specifications, understanding reports / interpretations and dispel common misunderstandings between consumers and producers. The session has input from commercial and academic practitioners including English Heritage. The desired outcome is for you to get more from the geophysical report you have just read, just had thrust into your hand on site, or are just about to commission…
