Promoting cross-disciplinary training

This session will review some recent initiatives from within the sector where training in the broadest sense has been undertaken between a variety of groups associated to and allied with professional field archaeology; such as the voluntary sector, the construction industry, planning consultancies and the University sector. The talks would study how these projects were set up, what their aims were and what might be learnt in terms of best practice in this kind of partnership working.
