CIfA2016 Annual conference and training event - Archaeology in context

Dates: 20-22 April 2016
Venue: University of Leicester

Hosted at the University of Leicester, expect to find our 2016 event packed with sessions, training and networking opportunities! We will have our usual three-day programme, this time exploring the broad theme Archaeology in context. We are hoping to turn the spotlight firmly on archaeology and archaeologists - what is the role of archaeology in society, or within the wider landscape that cultural heritage occupies? How should archaeology be embedded within the teaching curriculum, or within sustainable development projects? We are keen to involve a diverse audience to explore archaeology and its contribution to a whole host of differing contexts...
