Conference bursaries

Bursaries are available to support speakers and IfA members who would like some support towards either travel or registration fee. We have two bursaries, the Conference speakers fund and the IfA members fund_. We have a limited budget for both types of bursary and ask those applying to provide details of what kind of support they would like and justification for support.

Please be advised that requests for the Conference speakers fund should be submitted to session organisers in the first instance. Support for either fund will not normally exceed £150.

Conference speakers fund

  • Conference speakers should send details of the level of support they would like (travel/ accommodation/ registration fee) to the organisers of the session they will be speaking in.
  • Session organisers will be responsible for submitting requests for support for their sessions by Friday 21 February 2014.
  • Please ensure you allow time for the session organisers to collate any requests and send into IfA.

Session organisers should request details for any applications for support for their session and submit to Amanda Forster (amanda.forster [at] archaeologists.net) by Friday 12 February 2014. Requests should include details of the projected costs and expenses, and justification for the support in relation to the session.
