Social Programme
Pre-conference Activity - Chester Castle - Tuesday 23rd April 15.00
English Heritage have kindly offered to do a private group tour of Chester Castle the day prior to the start of our annual conference. Normally open only at weekends, the castle will be opened by their team of volunteers led by Volunteer Manager, Gary Ashby. The tour will start at 15.00 on Tuesday 23 April, this is a ticketed activity and can be booked via a link in your conference confirmation email once your place at the conference is registered.
Pre-conference Social - The Cornerhouse Pub - Tuesday 23rd April 17.30
We would like to invite all delegates to join us for social drinks at The Cornerhouse Pub in Chester for an informal pre-conference gathering. It is free to attend and there is no need to book, drinks and food can be directly purchased from the pub.
Drinks Reception & Dinner - The Guild Chester - Wednesday 24th April 18.30
We would like to invite all delegates to attend a relaxed evening of networking, music and enjoyment including a drinks reception and sumptuous buffet at the grand Guild Hall in Chester. Please book your place for £29 per person which includes an arrival drink, dinner and music.
Registration
Early bird registration will be available until the end of January 2024. Fees will be increased after that date until registration closes.
Refunds
A full refund may be given on cancellations up to one week before the event. Within one week, a 50% refund will be given up to the day before your attendance. Once the conference has started, refunds may only be given in exceptional circumstances. To request a refund, please email us at conference@archaeologists.net.
