Tackling Bulk Archaeology: Medieval Pottery

This one day training session will be a practical session focusing on how to identify medieval pottery. It will offer advice on how to research and use these collections and share best practices in curation and conservation.

The remaining session will be led by local pottery specialists Chris Cumberpatch (Doncaster), Derek Hurst and Laura Griffin (Worcester) and Duncan Brown (on behalf of the Medieval Pottery Research Group). It is suitable for field archaeologists, museum curators, volunteers working with archaeological collections, or students wanting to learn more.
